The authors' words: "In 2009 an amazing opportunity to ‘Get Away from it All’ presented itself to me. It was at the pinnacle of a bad economy and dismal recovery forecasts that I decided to grasp at this chance –and turn it into an opportunity for 'riding out' the recession.
After months of preparation, in November, on a sparkling bright day I turned the ignition, checked the mirrors, and zoomed into four months, two weeks, and two days of being on the road. And, it was 17,358 miles later that I wrote of my experience and sorted through over 4,000 photographs and videos' in order to tell about my ride into the middle of Mexico.
