There's a removable lid to with a pocket in order to help keep everything inside the backpack protected and plenty of pockets to store just about anything you want to carry with you. Also to help with comfort is sternum straps and side compression straps. There's a bottle holder, a gear attachment and an opening for a hydration system for a quick drink if you need one.
